A 10-minute film adaption of 'Papers, Please' is out now for free

“Papers, Please,’ a bleak puzzle game from 2013 that captured much attention of critics and also gained a cult following, has now received a 10-minute long short movie based on the game. Papers, Please presented an immensely bleak presentation of a person working as a clog-in-the-machine looking for a sliver of hope and deciding fate of others while trying to keep his own family fed.

The 10-minute long film based on popular Lucas Pope’s game is out now and is free to watch on YouTube and Steam. The short film does a good job at replicating the bleak and frantic moral dilemmas suffered by the game/film protagonist who is an immigration office working at the border-crossing station in a fictional state of Arstotzka.
