Destiny 2 Reaches "Millions" Of Players Already
This week, Bungie’s well expected shooter sequel Destiny 2 released for PlayStation4 and Xbox One, it appears to be a big hit. Bungie in a blog post today stated within two days, soon after the release of the game on September 6, “millions” of users have jumped into the game and entered the new social space, the Farm.
According to the developer, it hopes for too many players to choose the game in the days as well as weeks ahead, and ensured there shall be many more activities to play down the line. In October, Destiny 2 releases for PC, thus game sales stand to increase more still when the game is launched next month via Blizzard’s Battle.net.
Bungie stated “we’ve taken our first steps on a new journey as a community. We expect more players to join our ranks in the days and weeks that will follow. Veterans of our community know that Destiny is not just a story about heroes, but also a world that evolves with you. New rituals will begin. New challenges will be revealed. New platforms will come online. New legends will rise.”
Bungie also broadcasted a routine for Destiny 2’s first-month activities, along with the Leviathan raid, Guided Gmes, Trials of the Nine, etc.
According to Bungie, players can hope for a group of “new challenges” along with the first Iron Banner event and an update to the raid.
