PUBG crosses 1.5 million concurrent players, single player hinted

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds continues to break all records on PC platform. In the latest updates, PUBG has crossed the 1.5 million concurrent player threshold on Steam, in its early-access phase. In the history of Steam, DOTA 2 is the only other game that crossed 1 million concurrent player mark. PUBG beats the all-time concurrent peak for DOTA 2 (1.29 million players) comfortably. A look at the concurrent player records on Steam is shown in the image below posted by Daniel Ahmad on Twitter.

Other notable news about PUBG includes Brendan Green (AKA PlayerUnknown) suggested in Reddit AMA that he would love to have a single player campaign in PUBG. However, it is also worth noting that a single player campaign is not happening right now and may not happen any time soon. Developers at Blue Hole are already busy in continuing support for PC and also working on an XBOX One port.

PlayerUnknown tweeted a picture of a new vehicle appearing in PUBG, which looks similar to a Volkswagen Bus.
