EA Access and Origin Access vault will add Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1 soon
Electronic Arts (EA) has recently discussed future additions to the EA Access / Origin Access program. According to EA, some big hitters from EA’s 2016 game catalogue will join the EA / Origin Access Vault in few months.
First off, starting today, subscribers to EA / Origin Access program will get free access to all of the released DLCs for Star Wars Battlefront, EA’s 2015 fall release game. Star Wars: Battlefront was already available free for the subscribers of this EA program; however, none of the DLCs were previously available to them for free. With this new addition, subscribers are able to enjoy the complete Star Wars: Battlefront experience while waiting for the eventual release of Star Wars: Battlefront II this fall.
EA also made clear that by September end of this year, two other major games from EA will join the EA and Origin Access programs, namely Titanfall 2 and Battlefield 1. Subscribers on both XBOX One and PC will also be getting other EA games Rebel Galaxy, Oxenfree, and The Sims 4: Digital Deluxe Edition in coming months. There are no launch dates for any of these games, but as additions to the vault is permanent, it should be fine for subscribers.
Subscribers to the EA access (XBOX One) or Origin Access (PC) get some other benefits as well, including free trials of EA Games before launch. In coming months, subscribers will be able to play trials of FIFA 18, Madden NFL 18, NHL 18, and NBA Live 18.
EA Access and Origin Access are subscription based services that also offer customers guaranteed 10% discount on all EA games and DLCs. Furthermore, there are pre-release trials for many of the EA games. EA Access is available on XBOX One for $5 a month or $30 a year, while Origin Access on PC costs $30 per year. The biggest benefit of EA or Origin Access is the vast catalogue of EA games known as Access Vault.
