Ubisoft reveals Assassin's Creed: Rebellion for iOS and Android

Ubisoft is bringing the Assassin’s Creed franchise back to mobile as the company has announced a new free-to-play strategy game in AC universe. Though, the game seems to take some artistic liberties from the mainline games.

Assassin’s Creed Rebellion is a strategy F2P game that is getting developed by Behaviour Interactive studio for Ubisoft. The game offers a total of 40 assassins from the AC universe including some of fan-favourite assassins like Ezio, Machiavelli, Claudia, Shao Jun and Aguilar. About half of the assassins in the game are new introduction to the franchise, designed specifically for Assassin’s Creed Rebellion.

Rebellion mostly includes strategy tasks like managing the assassin’s guild, building Brotherhood HQ and enabling and unlocking new equipment to kill targets. The design and looks are quite similar to the way Fallout Shelter works in Bethesda’s Fallout universe.

With the announcement trailer, Ubisoft promises a worldwide release on both iOS and Android. Ubisoft recommends Android 4.1 and iOS 8, a fairly nominal recommendation.
