PlayStation Plus free games for June 2017 get announced by PlayStation Turkey Twitter

It appears that someone on PlayStation Turkey social media management team jumped the shark and revealed the PlayStation Plus free games for June 2017 ahead of official announcement on PlayStation Blogs. According to an image posted by PlayStation Turkey official Twitter account, PS Plus users will get Life is Strange and Killing Floor 2 free next month.

Killing Floor 2 is a sequel to the 2009 game Killing Floor. Developed by Tripwire Interactive studio, Killing Floor 2 was released in Q4 of 2016 and received a good reception (Metacritic score of 75 with 8.2 user rating).

Life is Strange is a 2012 episodic graphic adventure game (akin to TellTale games with a different flavor) by studio Feral Interactive and published by Square Enix. Life is Strange received critical acclaim from critics (metacritic score of 85 with 8.6 user rating) and also won a BAFTA Game award for its amazing story.

It is worth pointing out that only PS4 games have been announced so far. There is a strong rumor going on in the gaming world that Sony is planning a big change in its PlayStation Plus benefits models, which may very well be linked to the way free games are selected or the number of PS3 and PS-Vita games. It is possible that Sony may announce change to PS Plus benefits this month ahead of its E3 presentation or on the E3 stage itself.
