Xbox One/PC's Phantom Dust Re-Release Coming For Free Tomorrow
Once it seemed like the Phantom Dust series had went out of existence since the developer of a new title was ceased in 2015. The news of the re-release of the original game is soon to be out at a lower cost.
Yesterday on Twitter, Microsoft's Aaron Greenberg stated the re release date of Phantom Dust for Xbox and PC (Windows 10 only). It even offers free downloading of the game from May 16.
It runs on higher resolution, it holds up widescreen and adjusts how the single player progresses, the company spoke about it with pride.
Adam Isgreen, the Microsoft Studios creative director talked about the hurdles the project may face since the company didn’t have access to the game’s final source code. "So everything that we've been able to do in this version of Phantom Dust has been through reverse-engineering the binaries, and actually hacking and cracking the code back open again," he told Polygon.
The re-release should be out “before E3” as stated by the Microsoft in the beginning of the year which is simply three weeks away, even though little knowledge is provided regarding its launch.
