XBOX Service Maintenance will interrupt all backwards compatible games this week

Microsoft has announced that XBOX division will run a round of scheduled maintenance for all the XBOX 360 games and service delivery platform. This news was announced by Microsoft’s Major Nelson on official blog. As a result of this maintenance, all XBOX 360 games available on XBOX One through backwards compatibility will also get affected.

The scheduled maintenance will start at 4AM ET on April 27 and will run for two hours, ending at 6 AM ET. Anyone playing XBOX 360 games on XBOX 360 or XBOX One is likely to lose connection to XBOX Live in this time period.

This scheduled maintenance will have no impact of XBOX One games and XBOX Live services.
