Star Wars: Battlefront II has no Season Pass, features a single player campaign and console exclusive local co-op
Star Wars: Battlefront II reveal trailer is out now and many new details about the sequel have become apparent with confirmation on several aspects of the demanded by fans. Taking note of the extreme criticism received by season pass approach of Battlefront 1, EA and DICE have decided to idea completely, confirming that there will not be a season pass for Battlefront II. The official reasoning given for lack of a season pass by Bernd Diemer, Creative Director of Battlefront II to Mashable is “to avoid segmentation of Star Wars: Battlefront II community.”
Unlike the first Battlefront game, Battlefront II will also feature a single player campaign that is set during the three decade period between the end of Return of the Jedi and beginning of The Force Awakens.
Split-screen co-op fans can rejoice on the news that Star Wars: Battlefront II will also feature a split-screen co-op up to two players, but this feature is only exclusive to console version of the game.
Star Wars: Battlefront II has received the release date of November 17 for all platforms, PS4, XBOX One, and PC.
