Destiny 2 Reveal Trailer is out now

After getting the leaked poster of Bungie's Destiny 2 Game, studio has quickly started managing the hype for game by releasing official game content.

Firstly, Bungie released a teaser trailer for Destiny 2 on its YouTube Channel on 28th that features the amazing Nathan Fillion voicing character Kayde-6 boasting about his raiding experience in a bar. With release of this teaser trailer, Bungie also declared that a reveal trailer will be released on 30th at 10am.

Destiny 2 Reveal trailer titled "Rally the Troops" is out now and it is getting a lot of attention with Hype train going wild. Kayde is again prominently featured in this trailer, giving the game a more deadpoolish and humorous tone than the first one. There was no gameplay footage in the trailer though. It is now confirmed officially that Destiny 2 will launch on September 8th on PS4, XBOX One, and PC. Pre-orders are open now and people pre-ordering the game will get early access to Destiny 2 Beta test.

It is worth noting that similar to Destiny, Destiny 2 also has exclusivity deals with PlayStation and the DLCs will remain timed exclusive to PlayStation for first two years before appearing on XBOX One (status about PC is not clear yet). This is quite concerning for Destiny fans on XBOX One as they still do not access to a lot of content for the original Destiny game. The Pre-order page for Destiny 2 reveals that there are five different editions of Destiny 2 available for pre-order:

  • Destiny 2 Collector's Edition - $249.99
  • Destiny 2 Limited Edition - $99.99
  • Destiny 2 Standard Edition - $59.99
  • Destiny 2 Digital Deluxe Edition - $99.99
  • Destiny 2 Game + Expansion Pass - $89.99

It is already known that Destiny 2 will not allow players of Destiny to carry-over their existing items, ranks, or weapons in Destiny 2. However, players will get the option of importing the likeness and apperance of their charcter from Destiny to Destiny 2.
