Microsoft adds two more games to backwards compatibility program

Microsoft has once again expanded its vast collection of XBOX 360 titles that are backwards compatible with XBOX One platform. Today, Microsoft has added two more XBOX 360 games to the current gen XBOX console and both the games are part of XBOX exclusive RPG franchise Fable.

The most notable title among the two is Fable Anniversary edition released in 2014. Fable Anniversary includes a fully remastered version of the original 2005 Fable game from OG XBOX. In comparison to the 2005 Fable on OG XBOX, Fable Anniversary offers enhanced graphics, support for achievements, better UI, and all of The Lost Chapters.

Fable Anniversary joins the backwards compatibility list along with Fable II Pub Games, an XBOX Live Arcade game. Fable II Pub Games is essentially a standalone collection of all of the mini-games that were part of Fable II.

Both Fable Anniversary and Fable II Pub Games are live to download and play on XBOX One. If you owned them digitally on XBOX 360, you can directly download them on XBOX One. Backwards compatibility also works with XBOX 360 disc based games.
